  • Service refers to the Aurvia web application and related tools.
  • User refers to any person or organization accessing or using the Service.
  • Content refers to all data uploaded, recorded, or generated within the Service, including session recordings, transcripts, and summaries.
  • Subscription refers to a paid plan providing access to premium features.

3. Description of Service

Aurvia is a coaching notes and session management platform that provides:

  • Audio recording transcription
  • AI-powered session summaries
  • Action item tracking
  • Progress report generation
  • Integration with third-party services (e.g., Notion, Google Calendar)
  • Client communication tools

4. User Accounts

Account Registration

To use the Service, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information
  • Maintain the security of your account credentials
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or illegal activity.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Upload content that is illegal, harmful, or violates others' rights
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
  • Use the Service in any way that could damage or overburden our infrastructure
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

6. Content and Intellectual Property

Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload to the Service (recordings, notes, client information). By using the Service, you grant us a license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service.

AI-Generated Content

Session summaries and insights are generated using AI. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before use. Aurvia does not claim ownership of AI-generated summaries or insights derived from your data. We retain a license to process this data only to improve the Service.

Our Intellectual Property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by Aurvia and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our intellectual property without written permission.

7. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy. All user data, including recordings and transcripts, is stored with industry-standard encryption. Only the account owner may access or share their recordings unless explicitly authorized.

8. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services (AssemblyAI, Anthropic Claude, Notion, Google Calendar, Stripe). Use of these integrations is subject to their respective terms of service. Aurvia is not responsible for the actions or policies of third-party services.

9. Fees and Payment

Subscription Plans

The Service offers various subscription plans with different features and pricing. You agree to pay all fees associated with your chosen plan.

Billing

  • Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis
  • You authorize us to charge your payment method automatically
  • Fees are non-refundable except as required by law
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

10. Confidentiality

Aurvia recognizes the sensitive nature of coaching sessions. We implement appropriate security measures to protect confidential information. You are responsible for:

  • Obtaining client consent before recording
  • Complying with applicable privacy laws
  • Maintaining professional standards of confidentiality

11. Disclaimers and Limitations

Beta Disclaimer

Aurvia is currently in beta. Features, availability, and outputs may change as we refine the platform.

Service Availability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the Service without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurvia shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of income, reputational harm, or client disputes arising from reliance on AI-generated summaries.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Aurvia and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms periodically. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
